I have been running into a few of you this week and thank you for the kind words! It keeps me going! Back to business, with the upcoming holiday and FIFA games I would suggest to get your networking in this month! Next week’s newsletter will have June events but I’m not expecting too much. Random Fact: Elevator door-close buttons do not work in most public elevators. Since the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) in 1990, federal law requires elevators to remain open for a minimum of 3 seconds to allow passengers with disabilities enough time to safely board. Because of this law, many elevator manufacturers have either completely disconnected the button or programmed it as a "dummy" placebo to give riders a psychological sense of control.
