The weather continues to surprise us all with a chilly May day! My next event this month is The Art of Connecting: An Intentional Networking Experience on the 21st and I’m aiming to solve the issue of quality contacts. Several networking events in the city tend to be transactional networking where the conversation lasts 5 minutes and I was told to buy a life policy. This event focuses on having real conversations, and actually walking away with something that matters. So if you are looking for better results when you’re out and about I will see you on the 21st!
And that brings me to a quick lesson worth keeping in mind: understand your own business and the way you attract clients. For some, growth is driven by volume, a numbers game where transactional networking can be effective. For others, success is built through deeper, relationship-driven connections over time. Knowing which approach aligns with you is key, because not every event is built the same.
The goal is simply for you choose to show up, make sure it’s in the right room and that you leave with something that truly counts.
